It is a inexpensive yet powerful RGB TV Backlighting System, It will take the colors that appear in the outer ring of your television screen and then projects those colors onto the wall behind your TV thereby extending what you're viewing on your TV into the room, its a truely immersive experience. That's not all it can do though, plently of features are built in you can take advantage of. It's also home assistant compatible.
Our favourite part? With the exception of waiting for the 3d prints to finish, if you have everything for the build ready to go then you can whip it up in under 10 minutes! — muchhhh faster than finding where the heck you put the remote.

Easily connect and control 5V (and up to 24V) RGB LED's like the WS2812b directly from your raspberry pi without needing to build something yourself. Especially With the rising price of new single board computers you can't be too careful when using them to control other devices. We've even added an I2C port if you wanted to add a light sensor to control when to dim your lighting during the day or any other I2C sensor.
This device converts the lower level control voltages on any Raspberry Pi to the higher voltages required by RGB Leds like the WS2812, takes care of all your connectors, power inputs for the LED's, etc. It really is a one piece solution to LEDs on any Raspberry Pi.
